A beautiful day dawned and we continued our luxury moment by having breakfast in the lodge. Our Trangia cooker was put to good use anyway by some of our new friends as it was, yes, windy.
At 10.30 we had packed up and hiked again into an entirely different landscape, a little sorry to leave such a nice and happy place. The woods made for a different view.
Later on incredibly strong winds tried to push us down.
At 3 pm we arrived at Los Perros. For the first time, indoor cooking was possible, which in my eyes says something about the bad weather conditions that may be up there.
As the window for starting for the (in)famous Gardner Pass was supposed to be between 7 and 9 am in the morning, we had an early dinner and went soon to bed.
most important item of the day: duct tape! somebody else’s tent poles hadn’t survived…
